Impact Lab 2: Design Intensive
From the 28th August to the 30th August 2023, Blaise Allart, Taylah Mathieson, Priyam Mehrotra, Isla McWilliam, and Jemimah Nimmo participated in a 3-day educational experience in which we partnered with Containers For Change, an organisation which has a mission to improve rates of recycling to tackle the challenge of trying to increase the participation of apartment dwellers in their program. We participated in the design process for this problem across two days, with a final presentation to the partner on the final day. From this process we were able to participate in the design process in a real-world setting, an invaluable educational experience we will be able to take real-world skills from in a design context. The following are the slides explaining our brief (the problem), the resolved idea, how it works and why it would have an impact which we all worked on collectively.
